We have covered Austria’s government-owned carrier A1 in the past – the boys now bring the HTC S740 WMS to the average Austrian:
Even though the company already started to run AdSense ads, the device currently is market as not-yet-available. This means that no pricing information is available – I expect the device to go for about 300 Euro with a rather expensive contract.
As A1 has traditionally had an excellent relationship with HTC (and a decent selection of WMS devices), this can not be considered a sign of extreme marketing engagement on HTCs end. Nevertheless, I personally think that it’s always good to see further carriers adopting Windows Mobile Smartphones…
